Auditions for new TEXAS GIRLS' CHOIR
members will be held at the choir's headquarters at 4449 Camp Bowie
Boulevard, in Fort Worth, Texas. Auditions are held in January and
August/September of each year.
Auditions are completed for the Spring 2010 semester. The Fall 2010 semester aution schedule will be posted in late July - early August.
Young
girls, age 8 - 12, who are interested in becoming members of the TEXAS
GIRLS' CHOIR may audition
for the Texas Girls Choir Staff, at any of the audition dates and times
listed below. Prospective choir girls must have an equivalent of
a "B" grade average in school and have an adequate voice. A neat appearance, good posture and good conduct are also prerequisites
for choir membership.
Each girl auditioning should be accompanied by a
parent or guardian or bring a note of permission. Girls auditioning will
be asked to sing the first verse of "My Country 'Tis of Thee".
It is possible that auditions could be
held at your school. Check with your music teacher or your principal
and have them contact the Texas Girls Choir office.
